Cheap SR22 Auto Insurance Louisiana

I live in Kenner Louisiana and I just recently found out that my Drivers license was revoked. I was told that I have to get an file an SR-22. How long do I have to carry this? Is it for 3 years? From the date that you file the SR22 or the date of the revocation?
