I started working in North Dakota for two months now. I have car insurance policy. I am just curious what are the possible reasons why an insurer can cancel my auto insurance policy in Fargo, North Dakota?

Fargo, ND
According to the North Dakota Department of Insurance there are six reasons on how a car insurance company can cancel your auto insurance policy. This is given that the policy has been in effect for 60 days:
First, if you failed to pay the premium. So bear in mind to always make the payment;
Second, if the person insured has his/her licensed suspended or revoked;
Third, if you committed fraud in applying for auto insurance policy or in filing for a claim;
Fourth, the insured vehicle is found to be defective mechanically; and
Lastly, if you failed to make a payment for let’s say membership dues given that you have purchased your auto insurance policy for being a member of a particular organization.
If you have more questions about auto insurance cancellation, you can always ask your car insurance agent in Fargo, North Dakota or the ND Insurance Department.
